Try these tips to help find the right balance in your life:

  1. Value yourself (treat yourself with kindness and respect-avoiding self-criticism)

  2. Take care of your body: get enough sleep, exercise, and avoid alcohol and other drugs

  3. Surround yourself with good people who make you feel good about yourself

  4. Give of yourself: Become a volunteer

  5. Adopt positive ways to deal with stress: walk, journal or listen to music

  6. Quiet your mind: try meditating, deep breathing or even yoga

  7. Set realistic goals: small steps matter too

  8. Break up the monotony: Alter your routine- try new things

  9. Get help when you need it: Seeking help is a sign of strength- not weakness
