Desireè Wright

Hello, my name is Desireè Wright, a current graduate student at Clark Atlanta University receiving my Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree. I was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey, graduating from New Jersey City University with my bachelor's in psychology cum laude. My interests outside of the mental health field include traveling, painting in the park, and roller skating. With empathy and respect in heart and mind, I will strive to use a humanistic approach to aid the community in being the best individuals they can be.

Since the age of 16, I imagined being a therapist running my practice and soon my dreams will be my reality. With an interest in individual, group, and couples counseling and a passion for children, the hands-on experience received at Creative Touch Counseling Center will change my life forever. I am excited to be under the supervision of Chanel Toson to learn, grow, and glow as I learn Play Therapy techniques and more!
